Antioxidants in the treatment for acne

Antioxidants have been fashionable for some time to date, but many people do not know what exactly. Antioxidants are substances or nutrients in our foods which can prevent or slow the oxidative damage to our body. When our body cells use oxygen (in almost everything we do every day), naturally produce free radicals (by-products) which can cause damage. Antioxidants act as "free radical scavengers" and help prevent and repair the damage caused by them.

Health problems such as skin diseases, anti-aging, heart disease, macular degeneration, diabetes and cancer are exacerbated by oxidative damage.

That said, you can appreciate how important it is for us to introduce these "free radical scavengers" into our bodies every day, especially if presented any health problems such as you suffer from acne.

What foods contain antioxidants?

Fortunately for you and me, the list of foods containing antioxidants is pretty extensive: vegetables, fruits, most nuts, fish and shellfish, red meat, grains, eggs, chicken and garlic are just a few examples of some foods that provide great healthy your hunters daily.

There are some foods that are particularly high and famous for their ability to destroy free radicals. These are three of my favorites:

Acai Berries

Acai is a fruit that grows on the Acai Palm Trees in the Amazon rainforest in Brazil. The blackberry acai is small in size (smaller than a grape) and is dark purple. Although small, it is full of antioxidants and amino acids, and is considered one of the most nutritious fruits of the Amazon basin. Acai has 10 times the antioxidant power of red grapes and twice that of blueberries.

That said, I will not tell you that this fruit is the cure for all your ills (as proclaimed overly many websites that want to sell their supplements acai blackberry). The blackberry is a wonderful antioxidant acai and is a great addition to your healthy eating plan. It is interesting to add that it is a fruit that becomes the star to help you lose weight as many would have you believe.

Green Tea

Green tea, white, oolong and white from the same tea plant, Camellia sinensis. All teas obtained from the tea plant Camellia are rich in polyphenols, which are a type of antioxidants. Be green or white tea has about 8 to 10 times the amount of polyphenols found in fruits and vegetables (although the types of antioxidants are slightly different).

You'll need to include a cup or two of tea can be a great way to add a megadose of antioxidants to your day. However, people have gone too far on good information acai blackberry has done the same with green tea. For all its benefits, green tea has become one of the mainstays of treatment for acne "Busting Acne"

I also want to remind you that tea contains caffeine and some people should be careful with their daily caffeine intake.

Grenada

The pomegranate is a popular exotic fruit whose origins date back to the Middle East and Asia. Also known as Chinese apple. Aside from its rich flavor and a great number of ways you can eat and drink, studies have shown that pomegranate contains more antioxidants than green tea, cranberries and even red wine.

Pomegranates have also been shown to promote healthy levels of blood pressure and cholesterol lowering. They can also be especially helpful for men as studies have found that can help prevent cancer and prostate enlargement.
