Acne ... Is it contagious?

It is common to see several members of the same family suffer severe or have many black spots on the face or other body part. There are other families in which most members hardly have suffered from acne, even during adolescence.

Acne is one of the most common disorders of concern for a large percentage of the population. Many of us are still suffering from acne even when we grow up.

Acne spoils our looks and affects our confidence. The scars are so bad and make us self-conscious. But acne can be contagious? Should we stay away from acne sufferers?

Acne, is contagious or not?

For any disease or condition of being contagious, must be an agent that is transmitted from one person to another, as in disease transmission, where one can spend the fungus or bacteria and affect another person. Acne causes have nothing that can be transmitted from one person to another. There is nothing that we can make to others and causes acne in the skin.

What causes acne?

Acne is caused by excessive production of sebum due to different hormonal changes, but these changes occur in the body by genetic predisposition, poor diet, stress, among others, Fr acnes bacteria that inflames the acne is found in the skin of all of us, but none of these reasons is because acne can be borne. So acne is not contagious.

Acne, what I care to keep it away?

Avoid stress and junk food. Anytime you take hormones or are pregnant, consult your doctor about the possibility of acne and prevent it. Keep the upper layer of healthy skin by use of AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acid), carboxylic group of organic compounds. AHA most commonly used in cosmetic applications are typically derived from food products including glycolic acid (sugar cane), lactic acid (sour milk), malic acid (apples), citric acid (citrus) and tartaric acid ( of grapes). It is convenient to wash their face twice a day and kept clean of dirt and oils from the hair.
